Anesthesia and Intensive Care

The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care seeks to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for graduates to become qualified anesthesia practitioners ready to work in medical anesthesia care under the direct supervision of an anesthesiologist and an anesthesia technology specialist supervisor in general hospitals and anesthesia departments, intensive care units, diagnostic and diagnostic radiology, labor and delivery units, outpatient procedure wards, mobile surgery centers, operating rooms and emergency rooms.

• Graduating highly qualified technical personnel in the field of anesthesia and intensive care to elevate the level of patient care both locally and internationally.
• Focusing on disseminating the principles and ethics of scientific research.
• Enhancing the effectiveness of educational programs and curricula to achieve global professional and scientific standards through the best educational methods.
• Collaborating with stakeholders in the labor market at the local and regional levels.
• Improving the quality of anesthetic medical care by providing healthcare departments and anesthesia units within hospitals with highly educated and trained technical personnel.
